These really hardly feel like a full recipe — just a few ingredients and simple steps. Cut graham cracker squares into smaller pieces, slice marshmallows, top each cracker with a marshmallow slice, dip in melted chocolate, and let them set. Serve them at a summer barbecue, a picnic, or a Fourth of July celebration — they’re ideal finger food and a fun twist on the campfire favorite.

Ingredients
- 6 graham cracker squares (have extras in case of breakage)
- 8 regular-sized marshmallows (not mini or super jumbo)
- 1 cup melted chocolate (melting wafers like Ghirardelli work well)
- Graham cracker crumbs for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Using a sharp knife, cut each graham cracker square into four smaller pieces. If you start with a full rectangular graham cracker sheet you can get up to eight pieces from one sheet.
- Slice each regular-sized marshmallow horizontally into three thin rounds. Place one marshmallow slice on each graham cracker piece and press gently so it sticks.
- Melt the chocolate according to package directions. Working one piece at a time, use a fork to dip each cracker-and-marshmallow square into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
- Set each dipped bite on wax paper. If you like, sprinkle a few graham cracker crumbs on top for texture. Allow the chocolate to harden completely before serving.
Note: For best results use regular-sized marshmallows and a good quality melting chocolate. If you don’t have a fork, you can place the cracker/marshmallow on a small skewer or toothpick to dip. Let the chocolate set at room temperature, or speed it up by refrigerating for a few minutes.
